Sales, Marketing & Communications:

The Sales, Marketing & Communications department takes an integrated approach to raising awareness of and amplifying Expo City Dubai’s rich and diverse value proposition, driving engagement and visitation both locally and internationally. The department also seeks to build on the success and take forward the legacy of Expo 2020 Dubai, and support the positioning of the UAE more widely.
 

As Expo City Dubai prepares to host the globally significant COP28, a project manager is required to own the responsibility for planning, monitoring, execution and project management of the overall project from a MarComms perspective, ensuring timely completion within budget, and reporting. Working closely with other project team members, and contribute to the wider project/programme reports and responsibilities

Core Accountabilities

Own the overall responsibility for the project, not limited to scheduling, administration, risks and financial management.
Define the scope and objectives of each assigned project
Develop, implement and track the project plan with a focus on budget, resourcing and stakeholder engagement.
Create and execute a clear roadmap with an efficient breakdown of tasks and milestones to complete projects within timelines and budget
Track status of project deliverables and milestones, supporting the adoption of the project lifecycle and deliverables, and communicate execution progress.
Manage multiple stakeholders and conflicting priorities to ensure delivery as per the project plan.
Develop and monitor success metrics
Prepare regular project and programme level reporting cycles, provide regular project status updates, and report red flags to the line manager when appropriate
Define and update the project management processes, standards and governance, ensuring project plans and project documentation are complete and up-to-date
Monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders with Expo City Dubai.
Work collaboratively with other internal stakeholders and departments as appropriate to ensure the success of the project
Work collaboratively with external stakeholders as appropriate and other participating entities to ensure the success of the project.
Ensure compliance to Policies, Procedures and Regulations as applicable to ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met, and report on deviations

Knowledge, Qualifications & Skills required

·      Project Management qualification – PMP or equivalent
·      Strong interpersonal skills
·      Demonstrate strong planning and organization skills
·      Strong communication skills
·      Strong Time Management Skills
